Yvette & Craig Finlay
Global Missions Coordinators (GMC)
Hello from your RCS Global Missions Coordinators, Craig and Yvette Finlay.
We have been involved in global missions for 25 years. Craig has served in multiple capacities, including leading short-term mission trips, participating in a large Southern Baptist church missions committee, and serving on the board of a ministry in Uganda. Yvette led teams to teach and promote sexual purity in Africa, women’s Bible studies in Brazil, and supported MKs (missionary kids) in Brazil for serval years. We have a love for people and a passion to make disciples of all nations spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We get excited when we can help the local church get engaged in international missions. When we are not serving in different capacities at Restoration Church of Sanford and in our community, we love to spend time with our 6 daughters, 4 son-in-laws, and 11 grandchildren(and counting). Traveling and having new experiences is one way we like to relax. We look forward to helping you engage, pray, and support the missionaries from all over the world!
Meet our Ambassadors
A missionary’s task is to represent God and his message to an alien world. This shows the special relationship between the Creator and the messenger, who is dispatched as an envoy, an ambassador of God. An ambassador is an official diplomatic agent of high rank who is sent out by a ruler or government as a public representative. A missionary is one who is sent out to work as a citizen of the Kingdom of God, representing truth and light in a world of deceit and darkness.
Meet The Gaonas
Missionaries to Spain
Gerardo and Cesia were born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. They both received the Lord at a young age in their local Churches. When they were teenagers, their paths crossed at a Baptist Church in Monterrey. After dating for a few years and determining it was God’s will, they got married. While in college, they both attended a Youth Camp organized by their local Church, and it was at this camp, in 1998, that they surrendered their lives to be used by God whenever, wherever He may want to use them.
After five years of preparation in ministry and after graduating G from Law School and Cesia as an Industrial Engineer, they left their families and their home church, quit their jobs, and moved to another State in Mexico where, by the grace of God, they planted two churches in a period of ten years. G and Cesia Gaona have a heart for foreign missions. After much prayer, they joined the Friendship Baptist Church, Owasso, Oklahoma, staff to finish their ministry preparation. Shortly, they will be sent to Spain to
fulfill the calling of God for their lives.
G and Cesia have three precious children: Alessandra, Abby, and Gabriel. They are passionate about seeing people saved and deepening their relationship with their Lord Savior. They love ministry and can’t wait to take the gospel to the world.
Meet The Mulfords
Missionaries to Portugal
We are Jacob and Sydney Mulford, and we are BBFI Missionaries to the people of Lisbon, Portugal. We both grew up in Christian homes, but neither of us had accepted Christ as our Savior in our lives until our teenage years. After we each placed our faith in Christ, we individually felt the Lord calling us to attend Baptist Bible College.
It was at Baptist Bible College that we met and began to have a burden for the Iberian Peninsula. Upon taking a survey trip to the Iberian Peninsula after we graduated and married, we realized the Lord was leading us to that part of the world.
We love Portugal, and our desire is to see the people of Portugal worship Christ because He is worthy as the Savior of the world, and because God desires for the world to repent and believe in Christ. He uses His church to spread His Gospel message, and He has called us to Lisbon.
For these reasons, we are stepping out in faith with His calling on our lives to evangelize, disciple, and plant churches in Lisbon, Portugal.
Meet The Perezes
Missionaries to the Philippines
Andrew is a graduate of BBC and Kelsey a graduate of Missouri State University and received her missions certification through BBC as well. We have one precious and spunky daughter, Pippa, who will be one year old this March. Andrew and Kelsey love Asian cuisine, hot black coffee, and a competitive game of scrabble.

Currently we are serving alongside other BBFI missionaries here in the Philippines (the Gotcher family) and their ministry with Sumulong Baptist Church. We are enrolled in language training 3 days a week and are learning and adapting to the new culture.

Pray with us as we ask God to make it clear where we should plant our first church here in the coming years- our desire is to see the remaining 30 unreached people groups of the Philippines reached with the Gospel. Our strategy is evangelism, discipleship, and church planting- praying to raise up Filipino nationals to take over the churches.
Meet
Edward Houstoun
Missionary to Israel
Edward Houstoun is the Founder and Chief Executive Director for Covenant Ministries founded in 2012. Edward was born and raised in Florida. He is married to Lisa and has one child. Edward graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1992. While living and working in Orlando, FL, in 2010 the Lord called him and he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. Six months later Lisa surrendered her life to Jesus. With his wife and son Edward was following the Lord. Two years later the Lord gave Edward a heart, love and passion for Israel and the Jewish people.

For two months Edward was praying for Israel and the Jewish people not knowing a Jewish person or anything about Israel. One day in prayer Edward asked the Lord,"What do you want me to do?" The reply he received from the Lord changed the direction of his life. The Lord told him, "I want you to love and support Israel and the Jewish people." Edward asked "how Lord?" and the Lord again told Edward "I want you to love and support Israel and the Jewish people." Not knowing what to do, Edward continued to pray and the Lord opened doors of opportunity to love and support Israel and the Jewish people. Edward has been going to Israel three to four times per year setting shelters, working with the men and women of the IDF (Israeli Army) and being involved in different communities.

In 2012 Edward founded Covenant Ministries, a 501(c)(3) non-profit Organization serving the Lord and Loving and supporting Israel.

Covenant Ministries is a ministry based on the biblical teaching of Jesus Christ the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob the one true living God of the Old and New Testaments. We are Christ’s feet and hands in loving and supporting Israel and the Jewish people.
